The Shenkman Arts Centre, 245 Centrum Boulevard, is 15 minutes from downtown, and a 5-minute walk from OC Transpo’s 95 Orléans stop at Place d’Orléans. Parking is free.

All Stories Alive readings begin at 2:00
Thanks to The Ottawa Citizen Literacy Foundation, Stories Alive is FREE!
Orleans Young Players Theatre School is presenting Stories Alive, a series of staged readings, with Rag and Bone participating. The series is in the OYP studio at the Shenkman Arts Centre. Call OYPTS at 613-580-2764 for more information.
Each session will be about 45 minutes long. Two or three performers or special guests will read the story complemented by puppets, action, music, shadow plays, masks, or music. Guests might be OYP students, or well-known Ottawa writers, performers or celebrities. Some confirmed readers are Brian Doyle, Max Keeping, Paul Rainville, Beverly Wolfe, Jim Bryson, John Koensgen, Tim Wynne-Jones, and Alan Neal!

Sept. 26: Charles MacFarlane and others
October 31: Bev Wolfe, Russell Levia have fun with a Halloween Theme.
November 28: Tim Wynne-Jones and Alan Neal.
December 12: John Koensgen and Kathi Langston reading A Child's Christmas in Wales.
January 9: Ottawa's Brian Doyle and Max Keeping along with actor Paul Rainville will share a favourite Brian Doyle story.
February 13: Ottawa musicians will sing about L.O.V.E.
March 6: OYP Theatre School and secret guests will share audience stories.
April 3: Foolish Tales: Scott Florence and others will be foolish and FUN!
